JACKFORK MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAIL
Location: The trailhead at Pinnacle Mountain State Park is just west of the visitor center on the south side of the parking lot.

Total length: 6.5 miles, but if the many switchbacks get boring, hikers can easily cut it shorter.
Main attractions: This is a seldom-hiked section of the park for those who want something different. The dirt trail begins flat and wide but quickly turns rocky.
Hazards: None
Dog, bike, tyke friendly? Dogs and bikes will love this trail. Little kids, not so much. Take them to the nearby flat and fun Rabbit Ridge Trail.
