Tuesday recruiting tidbits: Arkansas target to visit 2nd time

An Arkansas target is planning a second trip to Fayetteville.

Running back Chase Hayden, 5-11, 185 pounds, 4.47 seconds in the 40-yard dash, of Collierville (Tenn.) St. George's Independent School said he'll visit the Razorbacks Thursday or Saturday of next week. He plans to visit South Carolina on Saturday.

He has scholarship offers from Arkansas, Tennessee, Michigan, South Carolina, Missouri, Louisville, Arizona and others. He and his father visited the Hogs for the spring game.

Defensive end Nelson Mbanasor, an Oklahoma State commitment, said he will most likely take an official visit to Arkansas. Mbanasor, 6-3, 250 of Pflugerville, (Texas) Hendrickson has more than 20 offers.

Guard Darien Jackson, 6-2, 175 of Overland Park, Kan., Blue Valley Northwest said he had a great visit. The facilities and hanging out with the players and coaches were highlights.

He has offers from Kansas State, UTEP, Tulsa, Weber State, Stephen F. Austin and Illinois State. He believes an offer from the Hogs is coming.

Arkansas Team Portis Wings Elite 2018 center Connor Vanover and 2017 power forward Daniel Gafford are headed to the NBPA top 100 camp at the University of Virginia today through Sunday. Arkansas Hawks 2018 forward Ethan Henderson will also attend.

Arkansas football and baseball target Connor Noland of Greenwood is attending Perfect Game National Showcase in Florida in between college stops.
