The event is also a celebration of the career of and a farewell to Producing Artistic Director Bob Hupp, who is leaving to take a job at Syracuse Stage at the end of June. Local musician Ben Brenner will perform in the lobby; Loblolly Creamery's food truck will vend ice cream on Main Street in front of the theater. Admission is free. French 'cooking'

When the famous French chef they've hired for their gourmet restaurant fails to appear, a Niagara Falls restaurateur (Don Bolinger) and his daughter (Maegan Hickerson) create a recipe for disaster when they persuade at the last minute an unemployed drifter to don toque and apron in Too Many Cooks by Marcia Kash and Douglas E. Hughes.

The show runs Tuesday-July 16 at Murry's Dinner Playhouse, 6323 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock. Doors and the buffet open approximately 90 minutes before curtain time: 7:45 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday (except 12:45 p.m. matinees only, Wednesday, June 29 and July 56), 12:45 and 6:45 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $31-$35, $23 for children 15 and younger; show only, $25 and $15. Call (501) 562-3131 or visit murrysdp.com.
