The Kendrick family — Bruce, Denise and eight of their nine children — drove 25,000 miles in one year, visiting every state in the lower 48 and parts of Canada and Mexico.
During their year-long road trip, the Texas family swam with manatees in Florida, hiked Grand Canyon National Park, went crabbing in Maine and more.
Why did they undertake this adventure? To advocate for foster care.
