One killed in shooting inside Little Rock restaurant

One person has been killed in a shooting in a Little Rock restaurant, authorities said.

Little Rock Police Department officer Richard Hilgeman said a man in his 50s to 60s died in the shooting at Frontier Diner, which is located off Interstate 30 near University Avenue. It happened shortly before 12:30 p.m.

Hilgeman said the shooting occurred inside the restaurant and that police did not have anyone in custody.

No description of the shooter was yet available.

The death is the 15th homicide of the year in Little Rock.
