1-vehicle crashes kill 3 off Arkansas roadways

Two people died from Saturday traffic crashes on Arkansas roads and a third died from a crash earlier this month, according to preliminary reports from Arkansas State Police.

A Roland man was killed in a Saturday morning crash on Arkansas 300 in Pulaski County, according to a report.

Joshua Nettles, 32, was traveling north when the 2006 Lincoln he was driving went off the road and struck several trees at 9:13 a.m., police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

A 34-year-old man died Saturday after the Toyota he was riding in went off the road and skidded into an embankment, according to a police report.

William Porter of Hampton died at the Medical Center of South Arkansas after the early morning crash on U.S. 167 in Union County, police said. Kevin Jackson, 33, of Petal, Miss., who was driving the Toyota, was injured in the crash.

An 18-year-old is dead after a one-vehicle crash in Rogers earlier this month, according to a police report.

On June 17, Luis Perea of Rogers was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Impala south on North Arkansas Street. At around 3:49 a.m., the vehicle left the road and struck several large fence poles, police said. Then, the Impala crashed into two stationary semi-trailers and caught fire, according to the report.

Police described the weather as clear and the road as dry in all three crashes, according to police reports.
