Wedding vows were exchanged by Hannah Ruth Walter and Salar Rafieetary at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, June 18, in Grace Lutheran Church. The father and grandfather of the bride officiated.

Parents of the bride are Paula and the Rev. James Walter of Little Rock. Her grandparents are Carol and the Rev. Paul Donner and Carl W. and the late Margaret Walter, all of Paducah, Ky.

The bridegroom is the son of Maryam Khoshroo of San Mateo, Calif., and Cathie and Dr. Mohammad Rafieetary of Collierville, Tenn.

The altar held arrangements of blush-colored larkspur, white hybrid delphinium, Akito roses, pink hydrangeas and alstroemeria. Music was by organist Jess Anthony and harpist Alisa Coffey. Reader was Kimberly Lane.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory satin gown with an overlay of net embellished with embroidered lace appliques. She carried a bouquet of blush-colored roses, pink hydrangeas and dusty miller.

Maid of honor was Kyleigh Reinhardt of Little Rock and bridesmaids were Olivia Barnes and Meggan Edmondson, both of Little Rock; Mary-Claire Barnes of New York; Kirby Walter of Chicago; Jessica Walter of Milwaukee; Logan Ann Radimer of Hot Springs; and Payton Goins of Fort Smith. They wore slate-blue gowns of velvet chiffon in various styles and carried bouquets of pink hydrangeas, white roses, gypsophilia and dusty miller.

Dr. Matthew McCulloch of Durham, N.C., served as best man. Groomsmen were 1st Lt. William Bateman III, Matthew Gilbert and Aaron Kala, all of Memphis; Aaron Walter of Chicago and Paul Walter of Milwaukee, brothers of the bride; Lee Anderson of Victoria, British Columbia; and Dr. Evan Tyler of Houston. Guests were seated by Blake Briggs, Harrison Daniel, Nathaniel Mahoney and Andrew Yousef, all of Memphis.

A reception at Pleasant Valley Country Club followed the ceremony. Tables were centered with arrangements of white and pink hydrangeas, roses and snapdragons.

The bride graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway and is a program assistant for Communities in Schools of Tennessee at Memphis.

The bridegroom graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in neuroscience from Rhodes College in Memphis, where he served as student body president, received the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award for service and leadership and was inducted into the Rhodes College Hall of Fame. He is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis.

After a wedding trip to Nassau, Bahamas, the couple will live in Memphis.
