A Tennessee man died in a single-vehicle wreck Saturday night in east Arkansas, state police said.
According to Arkansas State Police records, Brent McKinness of Memphis was driving north on Interstate 555 in Poinsett County at 7:50 p.m. His 2004 GMC left the roadway and he overcorrected, causing the car to overturn, police said. McKinness was ejected from the vehicle.
Road conditions were clear and dry at the time of the wreck, according to preliminary records. It marked the 252nd fatal wreck on Arkansas roads in 2016.
