Every banker I know (all being small ones) says Dodd-Frank is cursed daily, hourly by all who work there. Big banks were, or course, virtually unaffected by the thing; but small banks became even more hog-tied, ham-strung, unable to help their friends and known neighbors in a way that historically kept small towns thriving. We'll always have Jonesgould and Cape Girardeau and Memphis and maybe even Hot Springs and Poplar Bluff. But look out all ye who toil in smaller hamlets. There is no more use for you. You'll continue to receive necessities, via FedEx/UPS/USPS; but you will continue to whither.

Medicare ,a tax disguised as a social-welfare program should receive Paul's blue ribbon (wonder if Paul has burned his Medicare card) as Medicare is big government European style socialism that keeps all these old guys alive milking Social Security (big gov. socialism) (wonder if Paul has his bank returning his SS payment to the Treasury),but Paul must have had employer health insurance that paid all premiums as he appears to not know that premiums increased before the ACA.

My health insurance out-of-pocket expenses stabilized under the ACA. Prior to its passage, I was hit with hikes left and right.

Is there oxygen on Paul's planet?

So Obamacare and diversity make the top 10 but fascism and genocide don't. Greenberg also demonstrates his trademark breathtaking hypocrisy by quoting Adams while knowing full well the past 50yrs of US foreign policy and military action demonstrate the polar opposite - foreign intervention, occupation and regime change - of what Adams advocated. Perhaps he should consider a career in standup. This cr@p would probably play well next month in Cleveland.

AH, The wisdom of PG, by the way glad you are doing well enough to give us the usual dependable Alice In Wonderland good news of the RNC talking points and be their mouthpiece.

To those who question your insight and humor Sir PG, I would point to your remark "Stay well, friend. It's the best kind of health insurance." Well Gollee Says Gomer, Why didnt Obama think of that easy and cheap idea that is floating around in the GOP heath swamp of dead and decaying ideas! " What an astute statement.

Is crony capitalism like vulture capitalism?

On education , lets bring back separate but equal education except for high school football. And we can go back to having bible readings every morning, mainly Coptic language bibles. Get rid of technical devises , have science courses out of Genesis, and just speculate about science and medicine. Dont accept these gravity theories or germ theory of disease, let children bring snowballs to class to show climate change isnt happening.
And that really bad idea of diversity. We all know that is a bad idea. America was founded by white men who were of the Georgia idea of being Protestant [ not to slander any of the 30,000 surely one true ways] . Those red men and black men, [ excuse me not, southern heritage people for referring to them as men] . Of course PG forgets that the KKK helped control those papist that caused all sorts of diversity in the religion area, and yes Even THE JEWS were trying to and were found guilty of that attempt to bring diversity to the 13 original states, but those states knew how to deal with such trouble makers by denying them ability to hold office or vote. I can see our own legislature's little minds working over time to help protect the integrity of the vote by getting rid of many voters so as to not gum up their plans of control.

I want PG to ask to get rid of food inspections, get rid of making sure we dont have lead in our children's toys , and that we have unlimited to weapons that can shoot chemical and biological agents.

PG you forgot I AM WHAT I AM , I'S POPEYE THE SAILOR MAN ,who wanted a few sacrifices. And your reference to whoring, I would remind you our children with their fragile eggshell minds should not be exposed to such words. Did not these other g-ds have the right to be , as long as they didnt be first on those bronze age people's list of g-ds not to upset.

And you forgot the big loser, Sir Trump and his band of merry men, the gop.

The usual suspects are always sitting on GO. And Carpenter still thinks that Medicare and SS are welfare doled out from the goodness of Big Daddy's heart.

I sure hope that PG while writing this had a bad case of gas, which he released loudly and was a really bad stinker. Otherwise I think he has wasted that part of his life.

Glad pg is well enough to write. The only people who are against diversity are white guys, who historically get paid more with lesser credentials. When I practiced law in Little Rock, I noticed many of the top female grads of law schools getting passed over for men in the middle of their classes. For blacks it was worse, they purposely hired less qualified blacks so they wouldn't have to make them partner. The black dude with good grades from Georgetown Law did not get an offer from a Little Rock firm. He had to take a job with a big DC firm.

mitchell, this WSJ article says small banks are not that affected by Dodd-Frank. google and read.
Dodd-Frank’s Effect on Small Banks is Muted
Law has raised costs, but by some measures community banks are quite healthy; low interest rates pose bigger hit to profits, observers say

I'm not totally against all forms of eugenics. It should be voluntary, but we should not be encouraging unhealthy people to procreate. I've already told my child with neurofibromatosis that we will give him and his future wife $100,000 to do in vitro and only implant the embryos which do not have the defect. Researchers also are making advances in gene splicing which possibly could cure gene defects. Criminals, drug addicts, and alcoholics should be given free birth control. Certain criminals should have birth control as a requirement for parole, As a mother, I don't want to see children suffer from genetic defects or birth defects. We should have sound policies to decrease medical defects and child abuse.
