A Hot Springs man accused of holding his ex-girlfriend's boyfriend against his will was arrested after a brief manhunt Saturday, police said.

Garland County deputies responded to 196 West Sheets Trail in Fountain Lake at 5:30 a.m. on a call of a disorderly person, according to a news release from the sheriff's office. When authorities arrived, Patricia Foster told them her ex-boyfriend, Chad Allison, had detained her current boyfriend, Benjamin Moore, in the house. According to the release, she told deputies Allison threatened to hurt Moore.

Foster also told deputies Allison, 34, arrived at the house uninvited and beat her and Moore, threatening to kill them with a knife, according to the release.

Police said Allison later let a visibly injured Moore leave the house before Allison fled into woods behind the residence.

K-9 units from the sheriff's office and Hot Springs police tracked Allison to his home, where he was arrested.

Allison faces charges including burglary, kidnapping, battery and fleeing police. He was booked at the Garland County jail on Saturday, where he remained Tuesday morning with bail set at $23,000.
