Work to replace a drainage structure underneath Arkansas 160 near Portland in Ashley County will require a detour today, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Departments said.
Work to excavate and replace a failing drainage structure running under the highway will begin at 7 a.m. and close the highway in both directions near Ashley County Road 186. Motorists should use U.S. 82 and U.S. 165 through Montrose. The work is expected to be completed by 5 p.m., the department said.
