Robbers get $300 at Little Rock restaurant

Three men took about $300 in an armed robbery at a Little Rock restaurant Sunday afternoon, police reported.

Officers responded about 12:27 p.m. to Sharks Fish & Chicken at 6606 Colonel Glenn Road. An employee said three men had pulled up in a black Kia Soul, and two of them entered the business with handguns and demanded money, according to a police report. The men, whose faces were covered, took money from a cash drawer and then ran back to the Soul.

The robbers were last seen driving west from the restaurant on Colonel Glenn Road, according to the report. Police searched the area but made no arrests.

There were no injuries in the holdup.

The robbers are each described as black and between the ages of 15 and 20. One of the armed robbers appeared to be 5-foot-2 and weigh 145 pounds. He wore a black shirt. The other armed robber looked to be 5-foot-7 and 165 pounds. He wore a “white muscle shirt,” the report states.
