Arkansas Highway Police said officers arrested two men with 175 pounds of marijuana Saturday after growing suspicious when the driver handed them a license that wasn't his.

Police found the marijuana hidden inside a 2013 Volkswagen that was stacked on top of a car-hauling trailer stopped at Lehi Weigh Station on Interstate 40, according to a news release. Authorities believe it was en route to Atlanta from Washington state.

According to the release, police say the driver of the pickup, Rodney O'Neal Thompson, handed them Seddrick Deshon McShan's valid license while at the weigh station. When officers recognized the ID wasn't Thompson's and that his license was not valid, they called in a K-9 unit that discovered the hidden marijuana.

Thompson and McShan were charged with drug possession with the intent to deliver. Thompson was also charged with driving on a suspended license and failing to pay carrier registration fees.

Both are being held in the Crittenden County jail in lieu of $75,000 bond.
