A teenager has been arrested in the slaying of a man found fatally shot last week outside a popular barbecue restaurant in Pine Bluff, according to police.
Mark Anthony Carrington, 19, of Pine Bluff faces a charge of first-degree murder in the June 20 shooting, which left Allen Lee Lampkin, 49, of Pine Bluff dead at Kibb’s Bar-B-Que on South Blake Street.
Lampkin’s body was found inside the driver’s seat of a pickup in the restaurant’s parking lot, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette previously reported.
Carrington is set to appear in court Thursday for a probable cause hearing, police said. He remained at the Jefferson County jail as of Wednesday afternoon, records show.
Lampkin’s death was the fourth homicide in Pine Bluff this year.
