Arkansas man killed, three minors injured when pickups collide

A Prescott man was killed and three juveniles were injured when two pickups collided along U.S. 67 Wednesday, Arkansas State Police said.

The two pickups were headed in opposite directions at 9:51 a.m. when one of them — a Ford driven by 35-year-old Jonathan Crews — crossed the centerline and collided with a Chevrolet, according to the state police report.

Crews was killed, and three minors in the Chevrolet were injured. At least one of the youths was taken to Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, police said.

It was unclear how old the minors were or if anyone else was riding in the car with them.

Conditions at the time of the wreck were reported as clear and dry.

The death was the 256th fatality on Arkansas roads in 2016, according to preliminary state police records.
