The eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 have reopened after being blocked for more than an hour because of a tractor-trailer fire.
Arkansas State Police said in a statement shortly after 7:30 a.m. that the highway was blocked and no injuries were reported in the fire, which occurred around mile marker 173 west of Lonoke.
Authorities said after 9 a.m. that the road was still open, though the truck remained on the shoulder.
