AUDIO: KARK reporter pushed after Naramore hearing files complaint, director says

A KARK-TV reporter filed a complaint Friday afternoon with the Hot Springs Police Department after being pushed to the ground in an elevator after a hearing earlier that morning in Garland County Circuit Court, the news director for the station said Friday evening.

Earlier Friday, news director Austin Kellerman said in an email: "After reviewing the footage and speaking with our journalists involved in the incident, we're currently in the process of filing a complaint. We don't have plans to file charges."

Reporter Marci Manley was knocked to the ground as supporters of suspended Garland County Circuit Court Judge Wade Naramore attempted to block journalists from reaching Naramore on the ground floor as he left the court, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette previously reported.

Naramore was in court Friday morning pleading innocent to a misdemeanor in the hot-car death of his son.
