What is the big deal here? FLASH, yes there is money in politics, duh. Ask the Clintons and the Cruzs and Obamas.

The real problem isn't who financed Justice Goodson's campaign; that not only had to be disclosed, but was obvious from past reports in the ADG and elsewhere. The REAL problem is who gave close to 15 times that amount in UNDISCLOSED contributions to the "dark money" campaign against her. IMO, disclosure is more important than merit selection -- though merit selection may be needed to encourage better candidates than Goodson *or* Chief Justice-elect Kemp.
