U.S. Pizza is expanding Saturday-Sunday brunch hours to 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at its Hillcrest outlet, 2701 Kavanaugh Blvd., Little Rock. Brunch hours remain 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday-Sunday at all the baker's dozen other locations in central, northeast and Northwest Arkansas. See the menu online at uspizzaco.net.

Eat My Catfish, with restaurants at 1205 Military Road, Benton, and 2125 Harkrider St., Conway, has a June target date to open another in Breckenridge Village Shopping Center, 10301 N. Rodney Parham Road, Little Rock -- almost exactly two years since the closing of Barbara Graves Intimate Fashions, which previously occupied the space. Visit the website, EatMyCatfish.com, for menu details and additional details.

Lulu's Rotisserie & Grill, in the Colonnade Shopping Center, 315 N. Bowman Road, Little Rock, is the Arkansas pick among msn.com's "50 Best Restaurants in America". The site provides no selection criteria, so there's no way of telling just why they fixed on Heinz Kurt's South American eatery. The caption under a photo of tempting-looking black beans says, "Serving up empanadas, fresh full salads, parilladas and South American cocktails, this restaurant in Little Rock delights the need for a taste of zest in its community."

Sims Bar-B-Que, 7601 Geyer Springs Road, Little Rock, has stopped selling beer. The owner explains that she fell a little behind on her alcoholic beverage taxes to Arkansas Beverage Control, and they frown on that. Little Rock Sims outlets at 2415 Broadway and 1307 John Barrow Road are continuing to serve beer.

The new Tuf Nut Taproom is now open inside Andina Cafe, 433 E. Third St., Little Rock, serving Diamond Bear brews, hot dogs, German and Polish sausages, sliders and a sandwich called the Don't Josh Me -- fried bologna with peppered bacon, American cheese, Grandma's Cole Slaw and "the legendary Shack barbecue sauce" on Texas toast. (The cafe, anticipating the resurrection of The Shack across Third Street, sells the Shack sauce in the store.) Hours are 4-9 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 4-10 p.m. Friday-Saturday, 4-6 p.m. Sunday (well, actually, it opens when the cafe opens at 6:30 a.m.). The phone number is (501) 376-2326.

With crawfish season in full boil, Loca Luna and Red Door, 3519 and 3701, respectively, Old Cantrell Road, Little Rock, have started offering regular Thursday evening crawfish boils featuring crawfish, corn, potatoes and sausage, with a special craft beer discount. The crawfish boil price is $8.50 a pound; portions average 1.5, 2.5 and 5 pounds. The phone numbers are Loca Luna, (501) 663-4666; Red Door, (501) 666-8482.

Stone's Throw Brewing, 402 E. Ninth St., Little Rock, is expanding its service in terms of time and space -- the latter via the addition of a formerly separate storefront (formerly a barber shop, most recently Ninth Street Vintage) that makes possible increased seating for the taproom, and a new cooler that adds six taps for draft beer and cider, making as many as 14 of the brewery's products available for customers. Kimberly Cabinets of Cabot has created a smaller version of the taproom's existing red oak bar for the annex. And the setup allows them to shut off the annex from the main taproom to host private parties. And as for the former, the taproom will now be open Tuesdays -- hours are now 4-9 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, 4-10 p.m. Friday, noon-10 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday. As the taproom lacks a kitchen, food trucks provide the provender. Current beer selection, food-truck schedules and forthcoming events are available online at stonesthrowbeer.com. The phone number is (501) 244-9154.
