Smackover receiver Jordan Jones, an Arkansas signee, ran a blistering 10.75 seconds in the 100 meters to set a new Class 3A record at the state meet today.

He also won the 200 meter title with a time of 22.65.

Jones, 6-2, 180 earned his scholarship from the Hogs after running 4.34 seconds in the 40 yard dash at an Arkansas camp in June after his sophomore year.

As a senior, he had 36 receptions for 721 yards and 11 touchdowns, 21 rushes for 150 yards and a touchdown and as a junior, 25 receptions for 687 yards and 10 touchdowns, 2 interceptions and returned one for a score.

He plans to report to Fayetteville on May 31.
