Arkansas State Police have released the name of a Plumerville woman killed in an April 20 car crash on the Arkansas 9 bypass in Morrilton.
According to the state police report, 27-year-old Maranda Kay McNew was killed when her 2003 Chevrolet crossed the centerline and was struck by an oncoming Freightliner truck shortly after 8 a.m.
The driver of the truck, 47-year-old Steven Heide of Arkadelphia, was injured and taken to St. Anthony's Hospital, the report said.
Police described road conditions as clear and dry at the time of the crash.
McNew was the 151st reported fatality on Arkansas roads in 2016, according to state police records.
Police released the report on the collision on Monday.
