Gun fired in Little Rock parking squabble; 1 injured

Little Rock police were investigating a shooting that injured one person early Sunday.

Officers responded about 1:47 a.m. to a residence at 4219 W. 23rd St., just east of Abigail Street. They found Stevie Binion, 41, sitting in a chair on the front porch, according to a police report. Binion had been shot in the left arm. He was taken to UAMS Medical Center.

Witnesses told police that a neighbor had been upset with Binion because of where Binion's friend had parked a vehicle on the street, according to the report. The neighbor, known as "Earl," fired two shots into the air, then handed the gun to another man who fired at Binion, the report said.

There was no description of Earl or the shooter in the police report.

No arrests had been made Tuesday.
