Officers report marijuana found in Little Rock traffic stop; 2 arrested

Little Rock police said two men were arrested Sunday after officers found about 14 ounces of marijuana during a traffic stop.

Marquan Wright, 18, and Antonio Robinson, 18, were both charged with possession of a controlled substance with purpose to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Officers pulled over the two in a silver-colored Chevrolet Impala about 4:05 p.m. Sunday after the vehicle ran a stop sign at Merrivale Drive and Seymour Drive, according to a police report. Police said the vehicle smelled of marijuana. During a search, officers found about 14 ounces of the drug, as well as scales, plastic bags and $4,278, according to the report.

Wright was additionally charged with failure to obey a stop sign and driving on a suspended license.

He and Robinson were not listed Tuesday on the Pulaski County jail roster.
