— Running back Denzell Evans plans to transfer from Arkansas prior to the 2016 season.

Razorbacks coach Bret Bielema said Thursday that Evans will transfer after he graduates with his undergraduate degree this summer. Evans will be immediately eligible as a graduate transfer and will have two seasons of eligibility remaining at his next school.

Evans has played in 15 games during his career, mostly on special teams. He redshirted in 2013 and has 13 carries for 84 yards over the last two seasons.

With injuries limiting Kody Walker and Rawleigh Williams, Evans received more work during the Razorbacks' spring practices this year. He rushed for two touchdowns during Arkansas' spring game on April 23.

Bielema did not disclose which schools Evans is considering for a transfer. Evans had eight offers out of Bellaire High School in Houston, including from Houston and SMU in his home state, and out-of-state programs Michigan State, Kansas State, Arizona State, Colorado and Minnesota.
