Arkansas woman killed in collision with truck, school bus

Arkansas State Police have released the name of an Osceola woman killed when her vehicle collided with a truck and a school bus on Arkansas 61 in Mississippi County Wednesday.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported in Thursday's paper that no students were on board the bus when it was involved in the crash around 2:30 p.m.

A state police report said 73-year-old Jeanette Williamson was driving a Volvo that crossed the centerline. The Volvo struck the rears of an International truck and Blue Bird school bus, according to the report.

Williamson suffered fatal injuries. No other injuries were reported.

Road conditions at the time of the wreck were described as clear and dry.

There have been 155 fatalities in crashes on Arkansas roads so far this year, according to preliminary figures.
