R&B singer Erykah Badu will perform at 8 p.m. June 11 at Verizon Arena, the venue said Friday.
Badu, a four-time Grammy Award-winning artist, has produced five records since the release of her debut album Baduizm in 1997.
She will be joined by comedian and radio broadcaster Rickey Smiley, who will host the event.
Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. May 13 and can be purchased for $69.50 and $99.50 at the Verizon Arena box office or on Ticketmaster's website.
