Sheriff's office narrows down driver's vehicle models in North Little Rock fatal hit-and-run

Authorities in Pulaski County say evidence recovered from the scene of a fatal hit-and-run crash last week leads them to believe the person who fled was driving one of several possible vehicle models.

The sheriff's office said the hit-and-run vehicle may be either a Chevy Trailblazer, a Buick Rainier, a GMC Envoy, an Oldsmobile Bravada or a Chevrolet SSR. It would be a model year between 2002 and 2009 and likely has significant damage.

It wasn't clear what evidence led authorities to narrow down the possible vehicle model. Police said previously that a front license plate bracket and a drink can were found in the area.

Elgin Brice, 33, died from injuries sustained in the hit-and-run. A sheriff's deputy found him lying on Kelly Road between Reed Road and Bee Jay Lane in North Little Rock about 2 a.m. May 6.
