Storage- wise, these stoneware bowls from Tastefully Simple are as functional as they are attractive. And the fact that the bowls are oven-safe up to 350 degrees makes them especially appealing. But the bowls fell short on one of their main selling points: The dials on the lid to track the freshness of the contents. We love the concept -- a built-in dial (that also functions as a pop-up vent) to note the date the food went in the fridge. Unfortunately, the raised numbers on the small white dial are too hard to read. But that hasn't stopped us from using the bowls to store and reheat foods, we just had to revert back to our old tracking system of masking tape and magic marker.
