Links for Learning Golf Tournament

MORRILTON — The 11th annual Links for Learning golf tournament will take place at the Morrilton Country Club. Proceeds from the tournament will support the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton Foundation. The three-person scramble will begin with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. The entry fee is $300 per three-person team, and the registration deadline is today. Tickets are $10 each for a golf-ball drop at the end of the tournament with

Pig Roast and Auction

CENTER RIDGE — First Baptist Church of Center Ridge will have a pig roast and auction at the church, 3631 Arkansas 92. The event, a fundraiser for church camp, will be held rain or shine. Wooster Memorial Ceremony

WOOSTER — The annual Wooster Memorial Ceremony will take place from 10 a.m. to noon, rain or shine, at the Wooster City Park, 30 Parkway Ave. Park gates will open at 8 a.m. Two handmade quilts crafted by the Faulkner County Quilts for Veterans organization will be given to veterans, selected by a free raffle. Enviro-Maze Planning Meeting

CONWAY — The Conway EcoFest is seeking volunteers to help create an Enviro-Maze and will

Mustang 5K Color Run

PERRYVILLE — The second annual Mustang 5K Color Run to benefit the Perryville boys basketball team will begin at 8 a.m. at the Perry County Fairgrounds. Renewal RanchRally for Recovery

CONWAY — Renewal Ranch’s Rally for Recovery will begin at 5 p.m. at the Conway Expo Center. The guest speaker will be Keith Jackson, former NFL player and director of Positive Atmosphere Reaches Kids (PARK) in Little Rock. Quilts of Valor Sew Day

Vocal Scholarship Award Concert

CONWAY — The Kristin Lewis Foundation will host the second Vocal Scholarship Award Concert at 3 p.m. in Reynolds Performance Hall at the University of Central Arkansas. A reception and awards presentation will follow. The event is free and open to the public. The awards will follow a two-day competition. UCA alumna and opera singer Kristin Lewis is the founder of the Kristin Lewis Foundation, which is dedicated to encouraging talented musicians at all levels of performance.

Water-Safety Instructor Classes

Music in the Mall

Learn to Swim Program Registration

RUSSELLVILLE — The Russellville Recreation and Parks Department will conduct swim lessons with certified Red Cross instructors at the M.J. Hickey Pool. The program will begin June 6, with sessions and classes determined by the number of participants. Each session will include eight lessons in two weeks. Morning and evening classes will be offered. Register from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Hughes Community Center, 1000 E. Parkway Drive. A parent or legal guardian needs to register minors, and the fee is $60.

Alzheimer’s Disease Education Program
