1 injured, 1 in custody after Little Rock shooting

A suspect is in custody after a shooting in south Little Rock that left a man injured Friday afternoon, according to police.

Little Rock police spokesman officer Richard Hilgeman said authorities responded about 3:05 p.m. to a call of a shooting in the 7300 block of Lancaster Road.

The man shot in the leg, whose identity was not immediately known, was treated for injuries not considered life-threatening, Hilgeman said.

The shooter’s identity was also not known as of Friday afternoon.
