A Malvern man was killed and two people were injured when two pickup trucks collided on a rainy road in Hot Spring County Friday morning, state police said.
The man, 56-year-old Earnest Boyd, was killed when his truck overturned into a ditch after being struck head-on by another pickup that had crossed the center line on Highway 270 east of Jones Mill, according to a state police report.
The crash happened around 5 a.m. according to police.
Boyd was pronounced dead at the scene and two people in the other pickup were taken to the CHI St. Vincent's in Hot Springs, the report stated.
