Traffic stop in Little Rock leads to drug find, arrest

A Benton man was arrested late Thursday after Little Rock police discovered drugs during a traffic stop.

Joshua Hice, 24, of 4188 Royal Oak Circle in Benton was stopped by police in the 3900 block of West Markham Street while attempting to make an improper left turn, according to a police report.

He was found to have a suspended driver's license and multiple active failure-to-appear warrants. During a search, drugs were found on him, the report said.

Hice is charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver; possession of marijuana with intent to deliver; possession of carisoprodol, a muscle relaxant sold as Soma, with intent to deliver; and possession of drug paraphernalia, all felonies.

He was being held Friday at the Pulaski County jail in lieu of $47,500 bond.
