A Little Rock man was arrested Friday on accusations that he attacked his wife's lover with a shovel, according to an arrest report.
The report said Patrick Caruth, 36, went to the victim's workplace to confront the man about having sex with Caruth's wife while Caruth was in jail. Caruth is accused of then swinging a shovel at the man. Caruth faces charges of aggravated assault.
Little Rock police arrested Caruth at 9:05 p.m. Friday and found that he had an active warrant out for his arrest on multiple charges, according to the report.
He was taken to Pulaski County jail, where he remained Saturday night in lieu of $5,000 bond.
