A pair of lottery players from central Arkansas have claimed big prizes on Powerball tickets, the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery said Monday.

The agency said Anna Adams of Conway claimed a $150,000 prize Monday while Jimmy Coats of Little Rock won $200,400.

Adams, who bought a ticket at the J-Square Exxon on Dave Ward Drive in Conway, told lottery officials she would use her winnings to buy a car, pay for school and invest, according to a news release.

Coats, meanwhile, said he planned to put his winnings into savings, the release said. He bought his ticket at the EZ Mart at 11911 Mara Lynn Drive in Little Rock and also claimed the prize on Monday.

The two retailers get a 1 percent commission, or $1,500 for the Exxon and $2,004 for the EZ Mart, for selling the winning tickets.
