A Hot Springs man led police on a short chase after allegedly assaulting a woman and firing a gun in a neighbor's yard Saturday, authorities said.
The Hot Springs Sentinel Record reported Tuesday that Redmond Deshawn Logan faces charges including aggravated assault, fleeing in a vehicle and discharging a firearm in city limits.
According to the newspaper, Logan is accused of discharging a gun during a dispute with a neighbor and then driving off. Police said a sheriff's deputy tried to stop Logan a short time later, but he crashed in a ditch while trying to pass another vehicle on Albert Pike Road.
Logan got out and ran underneath a nearby mobile home before being arrested shortly before 3 p.m., the newspaper reported.
