A Little Rock woman who was cited twice on prostitution charges within minutes was among five cited by undercover officers Thursday, police said.

Linda Baynes, 45, was first cited on misdemeanor prostitution and public indecency charges about 1:30 p.m. at 1600 Wright Ave. She was then released.

Fifteen minutes later, Baynes was charged with prostitution again, this time at 2600 Martin Luther King Drive.

"She went out and did the exact same thing, I guess," said Little Rock police spokesman Richard Hilgeman, who credited the department's vice unit for the citations.

Each of the six citations was made by an undercover officer. According to police reports, all the women were charged with prostitution between 1 and 6 p.m. Thursday.

The others charged were: Necola Gentry, 40; Taylor Jackson, 21; Dorothy Dotson, 42; and Shani Smith, 38.

Three of the citations occurred within three blocks south of Arkansas Baptist College, two took place six blocks apart on 26th Street, and one happened two blocks north of Little Rock Central High School on Jones Street.
