Police: Pair accused of selling drugs at Hot Springs skate park

Two people are accused of selling drugs at a Hot Springs skate park.

According to the Hot Springs Sentinel-Record, 25-year-old Austin Billy Ray Davis of Royal and 26-year-old Amber Jean Griffith of Hot Springs were arrested shortly after 3 p.m. Saturday after police were called to the Valley Street Skatepark to investigate a possible drug sale.

Officers spoke to Davis and then called for a K-9 to walk around his vehicle, the newspaper reported. The K-9 alerted police by staring at the passenger door and police said a search then turned up multiple bags of meth, pills and other drugs, according to the Sentinel-Record story.

Davis and Griffith each face multiple possession with intent to distribute charges. They are scheduled to appear in Garland County District Court on May 31.
