1 MUSTANGS

The Museum of Automobiles will be the corral for Mustangs on the Mountain Show and Shine, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday. The show will take place in the parking lot at the museum on Petit Jean Mountain near Morrilton. The entry fee for the show, open to all year models, is $20. 2 MADNESS

Many state parks are filling Memorial Day weekend with special activities. For example, swimming, pedal boats and a party on the beach make for Memorial Day Madness at Crowley's Ridge State Park, 2092 Arkansas 168 N., Paragould. The holiday weekend celebration will be on Lake Ponder Beach, 1-5 p.m. Saturday-Monday. There will be a DJ on Saturday. Earlier in the day, children ages 15 and under can compete in the Fishing on the Ridge fishing derby, 9-11 a.m. Admission is free but there are fees for swimming and boating. 3 MEMORIAL

Encounter some important people from the past at Historic Washington State Park. The park is known for its historic building tours, but they're adding an outdoor experience with the Silent City Speaks Cemetery Living History Tour, 5-6 p.m. Saturday and Monday. 4 MOUNTAINTOP

5 MOUNT IDA

Downtown Mount Ida celebrates the past with its Good Ol' Days Festival, Friday-Saturday. The Front Porch Stage will present musical acts including the Rose Family Band, The Prestons and Mike Mayberry and the Slowhands. There will also be crafts, children's activities and a car show. 6 MONSTER FUN

7 MONEY

8 MULTI-INSTRUMENTALIST

Folk "songster" Dom Flemons a founding member of the Carolina Chocolate Drops, will give three Arkansas performances of Americana and Old Time music on banjo, guitar, harmonica, fife and "bones" this weekend:
