Top prospects give latest on Recruiting Thursday

Two top offensive and defensive prospects gave updates on their recruiting and possible visits to Arkansas.

Arkansas linebacker target Thomas Johnston told how Arkansas was recruiting him harder than other schools and updated when he plans to visit Fayetteville.

Johnston, 6-2, 220, 4.78 seconds in the 40-yard dash, of Spanish Fort (Ala.) High School has scholarship offers from schools like Arkansas, Auburn, Clemson, Oregon, Iowa, LSU, Louisville and North Carolina State among others.

Highly regarded sophomore linebacker Bumper Pool and his father, Jeff talked about his Arkansas offer and strong ties to the school.

New Jersey sophomore quarterback Allan Walters talked about his discussions with Coach Bret Bielema and offensive coordinator Dan Enos along with plans to visit Fayetteville for a summer camp.

Highly recruited running back Chase Hayden revealed his top schools and said when he planned to visit Arkansas again.

Hayden, 5-11, 185 pounds, 4.47 seconds in the 40-yard dash, of Collierville (Tenn.) St. George's Independent School has scholarship offers from Arkansas, Florida, Tennessee, Michigan, South Carolina, Missouri, Louisville and Arizona.
