Parents of the bride are Jill and Tom Whitehead of Little Rock. Her grandparents are Mary Jo and William Basinger, also of Little Rock.

The bridegroom is the son of Linda Stauffer and John Stauffer, both of Little Rock. He is the grandson of the late Barbara and Clifford Bonifield and the late Ruth and Walter Stauffer.

The chancel held natural teak columns topped with bronze urns filled with wedding flowers. Music was by pianist Darrell Adcock and vocalist LaSheena Gordon.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless ivory silk-organza gown embellished with Alencon lace re-embroidered in silver and beaded with crystals and bugle beads. The skirt extended to a semi-cathedral-length train. She carried a bouquet of pink peonies, peach garden roses and ivory ranunculus.

Matron of honor was Sara Elizabeth Woodall of Dallas, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Dr. Amanda Royse of Nashville, Tenn.; Dr. April Durham of Rogers; Alisha Ann Skrmetti of Germantown, Tenn.; Heather Lane of Little Rock; and Mary Frances Basinger, Meredith Basinger and Jessica Basinger, all of Grenada, Miss., and cousins of the bride. They wore strapless champagne-colored gowns and carried bouquets of ivory, pink and blush flowers.

Flower girl and ring bearer were Chloe Chance and Lucas Chance, both of Little Rock.

Best man was Jonathan Diaz of Seattle. Groomsmen were Kenny Stauffer, brother of the bridegroom, Andrew Crone, Jay Patangia and Dr. Joray Wright, all of Little Rock; Michael Wright of North Little Rock; Fletcher Travis of Hattiesburg, Miss.; and William Woodall of Dallas.

A reception at Chenal Country Club followed the ceremony. Tables alternated large arrangements of pink cherry blossoms, hydrangeas and other wedding flowers with low, lush floral arrangements. Music was by the Soulsations from Memphis.

The bride is an honor graduate of Harding University at Searcy with bachelor's degrees in biochemistry and molecular biology. She received a medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and is a physician anesthesiologist.

The bridegroom has a bachelor's degree in international business from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and a juris doctorate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law. He is a deputy prosecutor.

After a wedding trip to Turks and Caicos, the couple will live in Little Rock.
