Severe storms are making their way across central Arkansas on Sunday afternoon.

The National Weather Service in Little Rock issued a severe thunderstorm warning for southwestern Jefferson County, southeastern Grant County, and north central Cleveland County until 4:45 p.m.

The weather service located the storm near Lamont, moving east at 10 miles per hour with 60-mph wind gusts and quarter-sized hail.

The storm caused more than 3,00 power failures, including 1,137 in Saline County and 932 in Pulaski County.
