MILLS PARK
Location: Bryant's Mills Park is at 1003 Mills Park Road. Begin anywhere, but two good spots to join the trail are just east of the swimming pool or playground.

Length: The mostly flat, wide, paved trail is 1.3 miles long around the perimeter of the park. A quarter-mile shortcut connects the east and west sides about halfway through.
Main attractions: This is a shady, well-maintained oasis in the middle of town. The park's densely wooded natural area makes you feel as if you're in the deep forest.
Hazards: None.
Dog, bike, tyke friendly? Ideal for all three.
