Monday recruiting tidbits: Offensive target to visit soon

A top offensive target is planning to visit Arkansas soon.

Running back Maleek Williams said he'll visit Fayetteville either next week or the following week. He also plans to visit Illinois during his travels.

Williams, 5-11, 215 pounds, 4.42 in the 40-yard dash, of Punta Gorda (Fla.) Charlotte has approximately 17 scholarship offers from schools like Arkansas, Illinois, North Carolina, Boston College, Kentucky, Tennessee and others. Cornerback Timarcus Davis of College Station, Texas said he hopes to visit Arkansas this summer. He's been talking to defensive backs coach Paul Rhoads.

Highly regarded tight end Tre' McKitty of IMG Academy in Tampa, Florida said he's communicating with Arkansas. A source said McKitty has legit interest in the Hogs. He's a member of the ESPN 300. Video highlights CLICK HERE

2018 forward Reggie Perry scored 20 points for the 16-under Arkansas Hawks in a 70-48 victory over EOTO Ga. on Sunday. 2018 guard Desi Sills had 25.

Perry had 21 and 19 points in games on Saturday while Sills 12 and 12. 2018 forward Ethan Henderson had 9 and 14 on Saturday.

The Hawks are 4-0 and will play in the quarterfinals this morning.
