4 people hospitalized after Little Rock shooting, police say

Four people were hospitalized after a shooting in Little Rock late Wednesday, police said.

Two people, including one in serious condition, were being treated at CHI St. Vincent in Little Rock, Lt. Dana Jackson said at the scene on Bragg Street early Thursday.

Two other people were taken to UAMS Medical Center.

Jackson said that a fifth person was grazed by a bullet in the shooting.

The victims were shot while they were hanging out in and around a vehicle, according to police.

The shooter or shooters fired from a "concealed position," Jackson said.

Investigators were interviewing witnesses early Thursday. No further information was available at that time.

Four people were shot and injured in Little Rock on Wednesday night, police said.

Little Rock police officer Richard Hilgeman said one person was in serious condition after the shooting.

According to dispatch information, the call about a shooting in the 2100 block of Bragg Street came in about 10:50 p.m.
