Bahadur "Bob" Dhillon, 62, and Anthony Tramble, 56, were fatally shot about 9:30 p.m. Saturday while they worked at the Cherry Tree Food Market at 1044 Chickasawba St. west of downtown Blytheville, said Capt. Scott Adams, commander of the Blytheville Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division.

Dhillon owned the store and Tramble frequently assisted Dhillon there, Adams said.

Authorities found Dhillon's body near the front of the store, close to a cash register. Tramble's body was found near the rear of the store. Witnesses told police they saw three men running from the store after the shootings.

Adams said the store's cash register was not opened, but robbery may have been a motive for the shootings.

Authorities sent the bodies to the state Crime Laboratory in Little Rock.

The Blytheville Police Department is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the slayings. Adams asked anyone with information about the slayings to call the Blytheville Police Department's new tip line that has was established for this case. People can call (870) 278-7260 with tips.
