Officers found Keyshawn Moseby, 23, of Little Rock with a nonlife-threatening gunshot wound at UAMS Medical Center at 8:38 p.m., the report said.

Moseby told police he was sitting on his front porch with two other people in the 1600 block of West 24th Street when a black vehicle drove up to the residence from Marshall Street, the report said.

An unknown person inside the vehicle fired three or more shots, Moseby said, with one bullet hitting him in the upper left thigh, according to the report. One of the men on the porch drove Moseby to the hospital, where he was treated for his injury, police said.

Police arrest clerk in attack on man

A gas station employee was arrested after a gun was fired in the air and a customer was pepper-sprayed Thursday, authorities said.

Police arrived at the Conoco gas station at 1400 John Barrow Road in Little Rock at 10:30 a.m. and talked to clerk Dylan Bradley Childers, 25, of North Little Rock, according to a police report.

Childers told police a man he didn't know entered the store and they got into an argument about an air pump, the report said. Childers said the man would not leave, so Childers followed him outside and pepper-sprayed him inside his vehicle, the report said.

Police then found the man who was pepper-sprayed, who said he argued with Childers and left the store but returned to purchase a cigar, the report said. As he turned to leave, he heard "a gun being racked behind him," the man told police.

The victim said Childers followed him to his vehicle, pointed the weapon in the air and fired, the report said. Then Childers went back into the gas station and returned with pepper spray, the victim told police.

The man was taken to Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock, police said.

Authorities later recovered a silver weapon and footage of the incident from the gas station, and Childers was arrested, the report said. He faces charges of aggravated assault, second-degree assault and possession of a firearm by certain persons.

He was being held without bail Friday at the Pulaski County jail, according to an inmate roster.

Taxicab, cash taken in home invasion

An armed robber on Thursday entered a Little Rock apartment where children were present and took cash and a paycheck before stealing a taxicab that was parked outside, police said.

A Little Rock Police Department report said officers responded to a robbery at 7:55 p.m. at Bowman Heights Apartments at 420 Markham Mesa Place.

An officer spoke with a 38-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman at a residence in the complex.

The woman said she was approached outside by an armed assailant when she went to check on electronics that were charging in a taxi parked outside, and she was then forced back inside at gunpoint, the report states.

A man and at least three children under age 5 were inside, according to police.

The robber forced the woman to hand over cash and her $1,100 paycheck, as well as keys to the taxi, a 2009 Crown Victoria registered to Greater Little Rock Transportation Services, police said.

"You know what this is. I'm gonna pop you if you move," the robber reportedly told the man as he moved to shield the children, the report notes.

He added, while speaking to the woman: "Don't worry little momma, I ain't gonna hurt them kids," according to the report.

The robber then said, "I'm gonna shoot you in your eyes if you move," shortly before running out of the residence and fleeing in the cab, according to the report.

The taxi was later found near another building at the apartment complex, police said.

Authorities described the robber as black, 20 to 23 years old, about 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds.

Police said he was wearing black clothing and a gold chain around his neck, and could be carrying a small black semi-automatic handgun.

No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
