2-vehicle accident fatal to Little Rock woman

A Little Rock woman died Friday night when her c̶a̶r̶ motorcycle* was hit by another vehicle in the western part of the city, the state police said.

In a preliminary crash report, the Arkansas State Police said Jordan F̶i̶r̶d̶d̶l̶e̶ Friddle*, 22, was driving a 2003 Suzuki east in the 12100 block of Stagecoach Road at 5:24 p.m. when a westbound 1990 Toyota tried to make a left turn, hitting her car.

Police said Rolando Menendez, 28, of Little Rock, the Toyota's driver, was hurt in the wreck. He was taken to Baptist Health Medical Center.

The state police also reported the deaths of two Arkansans who were injured in crashes last month.

Shawn Lackey, 31, of Searcy was injured in an Oct. 29 crash in Rose Bud, according to a state police report.

Lackey was driving a 2000 Chevy Tahoe south on Turner Road when his vehicle rolled over several times, according to the report.

Lackey was thrown out and taken to a hospital in Searcy. He died Friday, according to the report.

A passenger in the vehicle, Jamie Lackey, 31, was injured, the report said.

On Oct. 6, Lloyd Lee Jackson, 42, of Bald Knob was hospitalized after the all-terrain vehicle he was driving flipped in White County, the state police said.

Jackson was driving a 2009 Yamaha north on Donnie Stevens Road when he hit a dog, lost control and flipped, according to a state police report.

The state police reported Jackson's death Friday, but the report did not say when he died.

Police listed conditions as clear and dry when all three accidents occurred.
