Newlyweds bring celebration to Little Rock with reception

Friends and family of Katie Vandiver and Alex Wise were invited to celebrate the couple's recent marriage at a post-nuptial reception Nov. 6 at the Clinton Presidential Center.

One end of the Great Hall was turned into a lounge area with white couches and mirrored end-tables, sheepskin rugs and fur throws. Guests dined at tables decorated with tall arrangements of hydrangeas, peonies, roses and freesia in shades of white, green and gray. The buffet held a combination of birch and silver containers filled with hydrangeas, roses, lisianthus and white dendrobium orchids. Silver lanterns with white hydrangeas and dahlias decorated outdoor tables. Music was by Bamboo Forest.

The couple were married July 9 in Crested Butte, Colo., and honeymooned in Southeast Asia. They live in Denver.
