SEARCY -- Garrison Hendrix threw for 405 yards and five touchdowns to rally Harding Academy (2-3, 1-1 2-3A) to a victory over Barton (2-3, 0-2).

Barton dominated the first quarter, taking a 21-0 lead and also led 27-21 at the half.
Hendrix completed 25 of 33 passing attempts. He threw two touchdown passes to Carter Sipe, for 12 and 10 yards. Sipe had 11 receptions for 135 yards.
Peydon Harlow caught a 20-yard touchdown pass from Hendrix and also scored on a 3-yard run. Ryan Turley caught a 47-yard touchdown pass form Hendrix and Travis Turley had a 33-yard scoring reception. Travis Turley had 8 catches for 107 yards.
Barton opened up its early lead on a 26-yard touchdown run by Devin Olloway and a pair of 1-yard touchdown runs by Matt James.
After Harding Academy got within 21-14, Bradley Smith returned an interception 95 yards for a touchdown to give Barton a 27-14 lead.
