GREENLAND -- Mountain View racked up 351 yards rushing to defeat Greenland. on Friday in 3A-1 Conference play.

The Yellow Jackets (5-1, 3-0 1-3A) controlled the tempo during the first half, shutting out the Pirates (3-3, 1-2) 36-0. Mountain View pounded the ball on the ground, rushing for 280 yards in the first half on only 28 rushes.
Mountain View's offense was led by a trio of seniors in quarterback Buddy Craig and running backs Chris Konkler and Ryan Sullivan. All five touchdowns went through at least one of those players, with one of the touchdowns coming off a 25-yard pass from Craig to Sullivan in the second quarter.
Sullivan would add a rushing touchdown on his way to a game-high 124 yards. Konkler added 93 yards on the ground and 2 touchdowns, and Craig chipped in 50 yards and another score.
